Jesus is worthy of our trust.
Creator, sustainer, and reconciler
Trust grows as we learn the character and authority of the person we are trusting. Paul gives us a wide-angle view of Jesus.
Read the passage
Read Colossians 1:15–20. Look for every description of Jesus, His relationship to creation and the church, and how peace is made.
The One who holds all things
Jesus is the image of the invisible God: He makes the unseen God known. All things were created through Him and for Him, and in Him all things hold together. Your life does not depend on your own strength alone.
Jesus is the head of the church, which belongs to Him rather than any app, celebrity, movement, or individual leader. Human leaders must remain accountable and may never use His name to demand unquestioning control.
Peace with God comes through the blood of Jesus' cross. Christianity is not advice about rescuing ourselves; Jesus acts to reconcile what sin has broken. We can trust Him while continuing to learn and ask honest questions.

Bring Him your concerns
Jesus, all things were made through You and for You. Hold me when I feel scattered. Teach me to trust Your authority, Your goodness, and the peace You made through the cross. Amen.
Trust and act wisely

Safety note: Trust in Jesus does not require remaining in danger, refusing treatment, or ignoring qualified pastoral, medical, mental-health, recovery, legal, or emergency help.
